As a Shoulder-Mount AVCHD Camcorder, Panasonic AG-AC7 is a highly affordable Full HD camera that enables a professional style of operation. The AC7 records AVCHD MTS to high-capacity SD/SDHC/SDXC cards. Easy for completing both SD and HD projects, the AG-AC7 camera features AVCHD recording at 1920 x 1080 and 720 x 480, both at 60i. So here comes the problem. How to convert AG-AC7 MTS to FCE without horizontal lines?

"The demo worked better than the other 4 I tried. The edges of moving objects have thin horizontal lines not tight lines but your software was the best at that problem. I shot video with Panasonic AG-AC7"

For a certainly, Aunsoft MTS Converter for Mac, an excellent MTS to FCE converter is equipped with the best de-interlacing function. You know, interlacing divides the image into alternating sets of lines-odd lines and even lines. So interlacing may cause bothersome visual anomalies in your AG-AC7 MTS video, indicated by thin horizontal lines radiating from all moving objects or wild flickering on still images containing thin horizontal lines. To solve this problem, you need to remove the bad interlacing first.

Below is a step to step tutorial to convert AG-AC7 MTS to MOV without horizontal lines for FCE editing.

This conversion program can be easily found via Google with keywords "Aunsoft MTS Converter for Mac".

P.S: MTS Converter for Mac can also convert AG-AC7 60i AVCHD MTS to FCP, iMovie, QuickTime, Avid, Adobe Premiere, etc that you may use easily and quickly.

Step1: Import MTS file

Click "add video" or "add folder" to load Panasonic AG-AC7 recordings. You can also drag & drop directly.

Step2. Select Apple InterMediate Codec MOV

Click the "format" and choose the "iMovie and Final Cut Express -> Apple InterMediate Codec (AIC) (.MOV)" files as the output. You can directly enter FCE in the search bar.

You can also customize profile via click "settings" in the main interface to reset video bitrates, video frame rate, video size, audio channels, etc. (Optional)

Step3: Remove thin horizontal lines

Deinterlace recordings before you transcode Panasonic AG-AC7 MTS to MOV. Click “Editor” button and then click "Effect". Tick the checkbox of "Deinterlacing" to remove thin horizontal lines. You can preview the original file and output MOV video simultaneously here.

Step4: Convert

Click "Conversion" icon, The AG-AC7 MTS to Final Cut Express Converter will convert AG-AC7 MTS to Final Cut Express without horizontal lines at fast speed. And with just a click on "Open output folder", you can locate the output file quickly.
